JavaScript Job: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

KS Ventures AG (a new Family Office) is looking for a senior engaged Designer to join one of its subsidiary companies specialized in the development of an innovative application powered by cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team and help ensure the high quality and reliability of our software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly test the functionality and performance of the Software.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve any defects or issues found during testing.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure the stability, accuracy, and efficiency of the application.
• Monitor and report on software quality metrics to drive improvements in the development process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on usability, functionality, and quality aspects.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical leadership and sharing best practices.

We expect from a suitable candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python.
• Solid understanding of React, JavaScript, and web development technologies.
• Familiarity with data science and artificial intelligence concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent English and Spanish other languages of benefit (German, etc.)

Job Types: 100%, Permanent

Salary: From CHF90,000.00 per year
